After Care

No. 1 Priority - Customer care

When you spend thousands of pounds on a luxury item you'd expect a very high level of after care and support but in the cycling industry this all too often isn't the case. Bike tech, materials and aerodynamics have all developed dramatically in the last decade but the industry’s customer care and service levels haven't kept up.

NBD (new bike day). For many cyclists buying a bike is perhaps the largest purchase they've even made after their car and house but once you've purchased your bike you're usually left to fend for yourself with a local mechanic or YouTube 'how to' videos.

Raptor Bikes is doing things differently. We've already built a best in class reputation of customer care with our 300+ clients in our servicing and custom build business (Airgo Tuning) and we intend to build on this with Raptor.

Step 1

Find a tape

You'll also need a blank wall, pencil, book or spirit level, and ideally someone to help.

Step 2

Take your measurements

Measure your height and your inner leg. Then use the charts to find your bike size.

Step 3

Find your size

Finding the right size bike is crucial. Use the guides below to find the one for you.

Two-point sizing system.

Our sizing system takes the guesswork out of finding the right bike size. It requires two measurements. Your height and your inner leg. Follow the steps below to take your accurate measurements.

Your height

  1. Stand with your back to a wall and place a spirit level or book on your head parallel to the floor.
  2. Measure from the floor to the book or spirit level.
  3. Make a note of your height measurement.

Your Inner leg

  1. To make things easier wear your cycling bibs or some well-fitting underwear and stand with your back to the wall.
  2. Pull the book or spirit level up between your legs as close as possible to your sit bones.
  3. Measure from the floor to the top of the book or spirit level.
  4. Make a note of your inner leg measurement.
This measurement significantly influences your frame size – please make sure to take it precisely.
